BRYAN ANDREW WILSON
combines the fever of a Pentecostal church service with the `1960s chitlin circuit on this high-energy Christmas track, “He Brought Joy.” Wilson’s brother, Aaron Wilson, a ferocious drummer, serves as MD and pulls together a tight rhythm section that reflects the fire of Otis Redding and James Brown. The Wilsonettes back-up group features Wilson’s wife Tiffany and his mother Sheila who usher the spirit of The Raelets to the choir loft.
